Still using Windows XP in your business?
Support from Microsoft for Windows XP will end on April 8th 2014!
Across the globe, companies have used Windows XP for many years but it’s at the end of its life and from April 2014 there will be no more Windows updates, patches or support of any kind.
From April 8th, if you still have computers with Windows XP installed, you could be leaving your computers / network open to attack.
Windows XP will boot up and run as normal but before too long you may notice quite a few issues especially as anti-virus products and security software will no longer be compatible.
What do you need to do?
If you still have Windows XP computers within your company, it’s time to start thinking about upgrading them but don’t take too long… ok you have a few months but you don’t want to leave it until the last minute!
You may have software on your computer that will only work with Windows XP so you don’t want to be looking for a solution to make it all work properly as late as March.
Consider looking into upgrading before Christmas, or at least get a plan in place before the end of December so you know that you won’t get caught out.
Don’t leave it until the last minute!!
